Visitor Center Sidewalk Closed — The sidewalk around the Visitor Center is closed until further notice. Please do not go into the fenced off area for any reason. Open Season — Jumonville Glen, Mount Washington Tavern, and the Picnic Area are OPEN until October 31st. Jumonville Glen and the Picnic Area are open daily sunrise to sunset, and Mount Washington Tavern is open every day 10 am to 4 pm.
CCC Camp Picnic Pavilions Closed — The pavilions in the CCC Camp Picnic Area are closed for the immediate future for restoration work.

Introductie
Fort Necessity National Battlefield is een historische plek in Pennsylvania die de eerste grote slag van de Franse en Indische Oorlog herdenkt. Het slagveld omvat een gereconstrueerd fort en een bezoekerscentrum dat inzicht biedt in het conflict en de impact ervan op de Amerikaanse geschiedenis.
